AGRIGOLD

THE LIFE BLOOD OF YOUR FARM

Seed is the essential ingredient that makes the miracle of farming possible.

AGRIGOLD SEEDS

From soybean to corn, getting the right seed in the right ground is the key to success. But just like we no longer reap our crop by hand, keeping a bit of seed from last year’s harvest just isn’t good enough any more. That’s why we carry AgriGold seed.

PRODUCING HIGH YIELD WITH PROVEN RESULTS

They’ve been producing high yield corn – backed by proven results – for over 80 years, with a more recent addition of soybeans. Their focus on helping farmers maximize crop results matches our own desire to see farmers succeed in every way. Agrigold works with us to make sure you get the seed you need to succeed.

Furthermore, their access to AgReliant Genetics’ global research gives their products powerful genes and an extensive testing program which helps provide high yielding results for your farm.

CORN HYBRIDS

As Field Advisors for AgriGold Hybrids, we focus placing the hybrids on your farm that will succeed. Hybrid selection and hybrid placement on your soil types are keys to maximizing your gross revenue per acre. We work with you on selecting a maturity range that will allow you to manage your farm the best. We focus on testing new varieties on our farm and in our test plots. We rely on AgriGold agronomists and all their internal and test plot research. Weather is out of our control, but what we can do is help you manage your risk with a solid seed line-up, taking maturity, seed families, and individual hybrids strengths in to account.

AgriGold Seed corn focuses on the seed families. Field GX combines the genetic family’s with our ground, our management practices, and simply help us manage our risk. Field GX helps manage our risk by selecting different genetic families and various maturity dates allowing for varying weather conditions throughout the growing season.

On our farm and in our area we break down corn in to different maturity ranges.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

I have weeds such as giant ragweed and marestail that are resistant to glyphosate. Will I be able to keep my field weed-free using Xtend soybeans?

Yes. With the Xtend soybean platform, a form of Dicamba such as XtendiMax with VaporGrip can be used to keep the fields clean and kill those resistant weeds.

Why would I plant Xtend Soybeans when I have no intention of spraying Dicamba for weed control?

The Xtend soybean platforms carry the latest and greatest genetics available on the market today. They represent the greatest advancement in soybean genetics since Roundup resistant soybeans were released in 2006.

How do AgriGold Xtend soybeans compare to Asgrow?

AgriGold soybeans compete very well with Asgrow, Pioneer, and all others. Last year we had several soybean plots comparing AgriGold with other brands, specifically, the Asgrow AG3832 – the number one seller, and AgriGold out-yielded this Asgrow product by 3 or more bushels per acre.

What maturity ranges are used in our specific area?

On our farm we use AgriGold’s G3324RX as our go-anywhere early soybean, and we use the G3520RX as our mid-range soybean. We try to keep this soybean placed on the top half of our ground and have seen extremely high yields from it. As our late maturing soybean, we use the G3830RX, which adapts to a variety of soil types as well as carrying a very nice yield punch.

We classify the Xtend soybeans into 3 maturity ranges: early, mid, and full season maturity ranges.

The soybeans we are currently selling:

Early season: G2900RX, G3324RX, G3410RX Mid season: G3520RX, G3690RX, G3712RX Full season: G3830RX, G3980RX, G4220RX
